RSV Vaccinations Posted or Updated on 1 Apr 2025

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is an important cause of lower respiratory tract infections in older adults, resulting in illness (including pneumonia)

The RSV vaccination is offered to:

• Adults turning 75 years old on or after 1 September 2024 until their 80th birthday
• Adults already aged 75 to 79 years on 1 September 2024 until their 80th birthday
• All pregnant women from 28 weeks gestation
