Prescriptions
When requesting a repeat prescription, please use the request slip from your previous prescription or complete a repeat prescription form available from reception.
All prescription requests must be in writing and placed into the "Prescription box" in the reception waiting area.
Patients can book appointments and get their repeat prescriptions by signing up for our online services, please ask at reception for details.
Prescription requests are not taken over the telephone to avoid errors and for legal reasons. Please do not ask the practice staff to write repeat prescription requests for you for the same reasons.
Allow 48hours for repeat prescriptions to be processed. Extra time is needed for prescriptions requested late on Friday afternoons and just before or after public holidays.
Repeat prescriptions can be requested by post, if a self addressed enveloped (SAE) with the appropriate postage stamp is enclosed. The prescription request will be processed and posted back to the patient. Please allow at least one week for postal repeat prescription requests.
Housebound patients can arrange with our local pharmacies to request and deliver medication.
Our local pharmacists also provide repeat prescriptions services.
Repeat prescriptions can be collected after 11:30am.
